Ephedra Diet Pills

Ephedra diet pills have been at the root of a lot of controversy over the past few years.  However, when used correctly, these diet pills can be successful fat burners.  Claims for it say they are the only “natural” way to lose weight and that using them, you can lose between 20 and 40 pounds within weeks.  One of the most compelling factors for many people is the claim that you don’t have to exercise with Ephedra diet pills to lose weight.  Reports claim the pills do all the work.  There are many different types, from what is known as “Green Stinger” that claims to be the ultimate fat burner using 27 mg. of Ephendrine to the “Yellow Bullet,” which includes the ingredients of 25 mg. Ephedrine and 300 mg. caffeine.  Ephedrine is a stimulant from the Ephedra plant that has been helpful in controlling appetite.  Ephedra comes in many dosages: 10 mg., 20 mg., 25 mg., and 27 mg.  The Ephedrine HCL version comes in 30 mg.  There are many combinations available.  Ephedra is getting harder to find, but supplies are still out there.  It has been reported that some of the most successful Ephedra diet pills are known as “stackers.”  A stacker is a combination of ECA (ephedra, caffeine, and aspirin).  This type of ephedra diet pill is also favored by body-builders looking to burn fat and build muscle.  Some reports claim there have been clinical studies conducted that have shown that these diet pills work without the addition of exercise to your weight loss plan.

Makers of Ephedra claim that Ephedra diet pills have been falsely accused of including a possibly harmful substance in their product when, in fact, many people who have taken the drug have not experienced any problems.  The manufacturer claims that the FDA banned Ephedra for political reasons, not safety reasons.  The makers of it don’t pretend that it is completely harmless because they know that no drug can make that claim.  Any drug can cause harm when not used correctly or responsibly.  Moderation is the key.  It has been around for thousands of years and they claim it is as safe as caffeine in coffee or colas, or alcohol in moderation.

There are also fake products on the market being sold in place of the real Ephedra diet pills.  Ephedra use, or rather misuse, has been linked to strokes and heart attacks, leading the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) to ban Ephedra containing more than 8 mg. per serving.  Serious side effects have been noted with this drug, including heart palpitations, high blood pressure, nerve damage, muscle injury, memory loss, tremors, seizures and more.  If an individual has an unfavorable health history, he or she may want to put a great deal of thought and consideration into whether this is the drug for them.  However, it has worked well for a multitude of people.  Using Ephedra under a doctor’s care, or using it responsibly on your own, has been shown to help a weight loss plan be successful.  The possible side effects of any medication are something an individual wants to give a great deal of consideration to before starting any new health initiative.  Also, all diet pills need to be attached to a strategic plan that includes general overall efforts of changing eating habits, eating healthier, and adding regular exercise to your routine.
